If you're feeling suicidal, there's always somebody to speak to. Below are some organisations you can contact for confidential help and support.
SAMARITANS
The Samaritans helpline is free to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It’s a confidential listening service that provides emotional support to anybody of any age and with any problem, for as long as they need.
It has no religious ties, you don’t need to give them any personal details and the number will not appear on your mobile phone bill.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST LIVING MISERABLY
In the UK, the biggest single killer of men under 45 is suicide.

CALM is a charity dedicated to preventing male suicides, with a helpline open to those who are down or struggling and need to talk, find information or support.
​
It’s open 5pm – midnight, 365 days a year.
​

PAPYRUS
Papyrus is national charity dedicated to preventing young suicide.
​
Their aim is to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives whilst equipping them and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to suicidal behaviour.
​
They provide confidential support and advice to young people struggling with suicidal thoughts through their helpline, HOPELINK.
​
